Here's where to get started if you want to read some of my work over the last 4 years
I’m Chloe, & welcome to self-taught.
I’m a girl who loves comedy specials and family sagas; low-brow romance thrills and 19th century literary classics; cooking and hosting and picnic-ing; and photography and the idea of someday being someone who watercolors.
Socially, I’m at someone else’s wedding.
Professionally, I’m an author of a book of essays (PERF), though I write across fiction, nonfiction, and screenplays.
I worked for five years in entertainment at companies like Upright Citizens Brigade, Comedy Central, CAA, and Scarlett Johansson’s These Pictures. In the fall of 2025, I will begin my MFA at Temple University.
I’m mildly paranoid about showing up on time to whatever life event is coming down the road, hence an obsession with recreational syllabi to know I’ve covered all my bases 🤪 self-taught dissects what wakes me up artistically and fills the gaps on artists and forms I want to explore.
